Udala N.A.C. in the district of Mayurbhanj of Odisha. It is located 45 kilometres towards south-west from District headquarters Baripada and 242 kilometres towards north-east from the State capital Bhubaneswar. The town is bounded by Kaptipada Tehsil towards the south-west, G.B Nagar Tehsil towards the North-east and North: - Village Patpur, South: - Village Bhimtali, East:- Village Raidandia, West:- Village Bhudurubani which are come in Udala Tahasil.
The Udala is one of the 31(ST) Legislative Assembly constituencies of Odisha.
Constitution of Udala NAC :
The Udala Urban Local Body (ULB) was constituted in the year, 1973. The Government in Housing and Urban Development Department have been pleased to declare this ULB to that of the Statue of Municipal Council vide their Notification No. 6884/H&UD, dated 07.03.1973. Udala N.A.C town spread over an area of 7.89 Sq. kms comprising 9 revenue villages and divided into 12 wards for administrative convenience having an approximate population of 13152 as per 2011 Census.
